Sr. Acquinice Hospitalized, Update on Joe

To All,
Mary Pat (Jonas) Groth tells me that Aunt Rita, Sr. Mary Acquinice, fell and broke her hip a few days ago. She is hospitalized and recovering well. She's expected to return home by Monday. As always, your prayers are appreciated and welcome.

Also, an update on my brother Joe. Back in January, he was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and has had several tests done since. While his iron levels are above normal, Joe says he apparently does not have hemochromatosis, a condition shared by our dad, his brother Fr. Robert Mullins, me and my sister Tricia. Joe also learned that a colonoscopy came back negative for colon cancer. (Negative is good!) Good news!
