My nieces Erin and Maureen are busy this summer and blogging about it to share their experiences with all of you.

Maureen Gesley is back in Ecuador where she studied for a year in her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. You can follow her exploits at "Ecuador: The Second Time Around"
Meanwhile, back home, their Uncle Joe Mullins won accolades as Bartender of the Week.

I'll be in Milwaukee during IrishFest so I'll look for all the Milwaukee cousins there. I'm also attending the 40th Reunion of the Class of 1969 from St. Pius X grade school. Should be surreal.

I'm also a blogger, writing for Examiner.com, a Web site with an army of several thousand bloggers nationwide; they are called "Examiners." I write about consumer electronics such as smartphones, Bluetooth headsets, GPS devices, etc. so I'm the "San Jose Gadget Examiner."
