Richard Moede 1943-2014

My apologies for not sharing this sooner, but Richard F. Moede, 70, ex-husband of Tess Jonas-Moede and son-in-law of Aunt Teresa Jonas, died Feb. 15.

Richard and Tess’s daughter Erin Bridget posted news of his passage on Facebook with the following tribute:

“I can't possibly explain how much I will miss him. I always have been and always will be a Daddy's girl. Even though we didn't get as much time together as we should've, I have nothing but fond memories and feel lucky to have had him as my Dad.”

Richard graduated from Bay View High School, which probably explains how he met Tess. When they were married, I remember several fond memories of them hosting the annual summer cousins picnic in the 1980s at their lake home in East Troy.
